Copies of health certificates and cattle registration papers are required. All papers will remain with the Fair.

 Junior Show is open to boys and girls who are between 8 and 18 years of age as of Jan. 1 of the year the Fair is held.

 Juniors are eligible for open classes.

 All animals shown in Junior Show must be property of the boys or girls showing them. If the same animals are shown in both Open Classes and Junior Show, they shall be shown under the same exhibitor’s name (for example, the father is not permitted to show an animal in Open classes, and the son or daughter show the same animal in the Junior Show).

 Sheep and Goat Classes are for registered and un-papered animals.

 Entries must be made by July 15, 2009. Mailing or phone-in is acceptable ways to make entry.

 

ALL ENTRY FEE’S WILL BE PAID ON ENTRY. ENTRY FEE’S WILL NOT BE REFUNDED IN CLASSES WHERE ANIMAL DOES NOT PLACE.  NOTHING WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM PREMIUM CHECK.

 

 Final Entry and payment must be made by 12 p.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2009.

 

 Junior livestock must be on the grounds at least 72 hours. Established times have been set. Exceptions may be handled by Superintendents and Fair Manager ONLY. Must have cleaned stalls/pens before checks are released.

 

 Pairs classes may not include a cow-calf pair unless specified.

 

 A cow that has had a calf by the date of the show will be placed in the Cow-Calf class with her calf. She will not be allowed to enter the yearling classes, despite her age.

 

 All heifers must be owned by May 15, 2009. Exceptions are calves born after this date.

 

 Registration papers must be turned in to the Superintendent at the Sam Stafford building by noon on Tuesday, July 21, 2009. A copy machine is available in the office, when time or availability permits.
