TALENT SHOW!!!

Jr. & Sr. Divisions

Rules

1. The contest is open to anyone 21 years of age or younger. You do not have to live in Saline County to participate.

2. Jr. Division contestants must be 14 years of age or under by July 20, 2009. Sr. division must be between 14 years of age and 21 years of age by July 20, 2009.

3.  A person can only enter in one event. They may not enter in a solo & duet in the same age division.

4. There will be a panel of judges and their decisions will be final. Interpretation of the rules will be determined by the talent show committee.

5.  Each act will be judged in the following categories. Perfect score is 100.   COSTUME=5     STAGE PRESENTS=35

              AUDIENCE APPEAL=10     ABILITY=50

6. Any act that goes over 4 minute performance time limit,       will be disqualified.

7. Entry fee of $10 must accompany entry form.  Entries will be accepted until Monday, July 20th at 1:00 p.m. 

8. Winners will be awarded cash prizes for 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd places.

9.  1^st place winners in each division will have the opportunity to advance to the State Fair convention in Springfield in January 2010.  Saline Co. Fair will pay for the Entry fee that event.

10..  CD’s must be cued ready to perform. Contestants must provide a 4x6 card with the act and name of the music, and personal information, parent’s/guardian’s name, school, year in school and hobbies.

 

Sound system and microphones will be provided.
