ENTRY FEE $175 PER TEAM

RULES;

  1. Every contestant AND spectator MUST sign a release form, prior to entering the pit area.

  2. Players MUST BE 18 years of age. Bring ID, you could be question or challenged, and with no proof-no play!

  3. All teams must choose a team captain. That person must attend the captains meeting prior to tourney. This person will be responsible for their teams.

  4. Each team will be responsible for providing 1 score keeper for each game.

  5. NO GLASS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE GROUNDS.   Coolers will be checked at the gate.

  6. Players may not play for more than 1 team, unless given permission by tournament director, and agreed upon by both participating teams.

  7. All players must wear pants and shirt!!! NO BATHING SUITS OR SPORT BRA’S.

  8. NO ANIMALS/PETS ALLOWED.

  9. Teams must be present & ready for play at the designated court at least 5 min. prior to start time. Teams will be penalized a point for every minute they are late, up to total points of game.

  10. Any player arguing or harassing an official will immediately asked to leave the game and the grounds. Failure to leave will cause your team to forfeit.  Any player extracted from game will not be allowed to participate in any further play.

  11. The Saline CO. Fair or any one representing the Fair, are not responsible for lost or stolen items that may occur at this or any other event held on the grounds. The Saline Co. Fair and their representatives are not responsible for any injury or accidents.

  12. Teams my have a minimum of 7 players & max of 10 on roster. You may play min. of 5 & max. Of 6 each game, which 2 of the players MUST BE female.

  13. Rules are subject to change due to official’s interpretation.

  14. Net serve does not count.

  15. 3 hits per side allowed. Block is not considered a hit. It’s a violation to spike with 2 hands. Consecutive hits by same person are not allowed unless one is a block.

  16. Only players on the front line may spike the ball.

  17. Points will be scored by the serving team.

  18. Players my substitute in serving position only, unless in the case of injury.

  19. Players must rotate clock wise when recovering the ball for serve.

  20. Basic First Aid will be available. Concession & restrooms will be available.

  21. Anny announcements made at the captains meeting take proceed over any other material printed or vocalized.

  22. Contestants & spectators for this event must enter & exit through the back gate & pit gate.

  23. This will be a double elimination tourney. Best 2 out of 3 games per match, so each team is guaranteed 2 matches.

  24. Teams must win by 2 points and will go to at least 15. Points are subject to change due to time issues, weather, and/or darkness.
